The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2008. It offers a 4 year B.E (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and 2 year M.E(Power Electronics and Drives)Programme. To impart training with the best of teaching expertise supported by excellent laboratory infrastructure and exposure to recent trends in the industry, to ensure that the students are moulded into competent electrical engineers and worthy citizens of the country.
Vision:To impart the quality education and develop the overall qualities of the students to face the challenges of the real world and to lay the foundation for R & D activities to support the community needs.
Mission:The mission of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering greatly focuses on the following key result areas in order to raise engineers and researchers with high quality technical expertise, professional attitudes, ethical values and the ability to apply acquired knowledge to have a productive career and empower spiritually to serve humanity.
